Registration for The Innovative Library Classroom is now full, and the wait list has closed.
We are busily planning a conference experience full of new ideas, networking opportunities, and fun. Conference sessions and social opportunities will appeal to anyone involved in any aspect of library instruction, regardless of the size, type, or location of your institution--we welcome a diversity of perspectives and presenters! There will be a keynote speaker, an invited guest speaker, 45-minute presentations, lightning talks, and a networking/discussion lunch.
Our partnership with Internet Reference Services Quarterly will advance conference discussions beyond the conference. Selected papers based on conference presentations will be published, subject to double blind peer review, in a special issue dedicated to The Innovative Library Classroom in December 2014. More information about IRSQ is available on the IRSQ website.
Registration will be limited to 75 participants to facilitate opportunities to learn from and network with colleagues. As of March 24, 2014, registration for The Innovative Library Classroom is full.
The timeline for conference events is as follows:
- November 30, 2013: Proposal submission deadline (call for proposals is now closed)
- December 15, 2013: Presenters notified of proposal status
- January 15, 2013: Selected presenters must confirm presentations
- Monday, March 24, 2014: Registration filled and the wait list has closed. See you in Radford in May!
